Senso wheel SD-LC

 

This is a force feedback steering wheel integrated with IPG Carmaker via IPG X-Pack4.

 

Sensitive force-feedback at the dynamic of the drive is the particular advantage of the SENSO-Wheel. The torques calculated in the simulation are placed into the driver's hand precisely and interference-free via the SENSO-Wheel. Freely programmable stiffness, damping and friction in combination with an additionally commanded torque perfect the realistic steering perception. The strong servo drive produces deceptively real mechanical end stops.

 

IPG X-Pack 4

 

This is the brain of the HiL test rig. The Xpack4 system is a powerful, flexible and modular hardware platform that can be used in diverse areas of application.

 

Various hardware modules are interfaced with X-Pack 4, while vehicle's mathematical models, developed algorithms on various vehicle modules etc are loaded into this Real Time Rapid Prototyping Tool for performing HiL experiments.
